Apple strudel with phyllo


  • Apple strudel with phyllo

    Serves: 1


    Ingredients:
    1 package of pie crusts 5-6 apples 1 cup sugar 1 cup walnuts, chopped 1 tsp cinnamon 3-4 tablespoons bread crumbs 2-3 tablespoons cooking oil

    Method of preparation:
    Grate the apples, mix them with the sugar, the cinnamon and the finely chopped walnuts. Blend well. Spread out the phyllo, take one leaf, fold it into two, place 2-3 tbps of the apple mixture and spread it over the phyllo, then roll the leaf into a roll. Arrange the rolls on a greased baking pan in circles. Bake at 200 degrees until golden brown. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.

    Mix the crumbled white cheese with the eggs, yogurt, the sifted flour and the salt and oil. Arrange two by two the phyllo leaves, sprinkling on each layer the stuffing and top with another phyllo leaf. If there is some of the mixture left, cover the banitsa with it.
