Roast shoulder of lamb with garlic and white wine

  • Traditional holiday lamb

    Time preparation: 20 minutes

    Processing time: 180 minutes

    Serves: 4

    2.5 kg shoulder of lamb meat 2-3 heads of garlic 150 ml white wine mint black pepper cooking oil salt 4 lemons

    Method of preparation:
    Clean the shoulder of lamb, place it in a baking pot. Make a few slashes in the meat and put garlic heads in them. Pour the juice of four lemons over the meat, sprinkle mint, black pepper, salt and a little bit of oil over it. Add the wine in the pot and a cup of water and let the shoulder of lamb stay in the marinade for 12 hours. Cover the meat with foil. Roast in a pre-heated oven for about 2 hours. After that remove the foil and roast the shoulder of lamb for an hour more, pouring the sauce from the pot over the meal from time to time.
